The skies opened up and the rain fell at AutoZone Park.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Memphis Redbirds and the Sacramento River Cats, Jamie Hatch, who is tied for 10th in the PCL with a 5.8 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Memphis left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Memphis currently is in 4th place in the Pacific Coast League North Division at 16-15.

Harry Shook, who is tied for 5th in the PCL in RBI with 22, took Sacramento hurler Ghebru Hami deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Redbirds on top, 3-1. In all, Shook had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Hatch.
