Matturro Hits 2 home runs in Aviators Win
Behind the hitting of Eric Matturro, the Las Vegas Aviators clipped the Round Rock Express, 5-4. Matturro was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks for the Aviators. Picking up his 2nd save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Dennis Raynor. The Express fall to 12-15 and continue their sputtering start to the 2059 season.

Mike McDevitt had a big solo home run for the Aviators in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Las Vegas leading 4-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Dong-choon Yoo, who is tied for 9th in the PCL in quality starts with 3, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Aviators on top, 5-1.

"I was a little disappointed," said Round Rock manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
