Tacoma took on Iowa in front of a lively crowd.

Tacoma third baseman Danny Dressel had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Iowa Cubs, 6-0. Dave Luft, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.2 innings.

In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, Dressel came to the plate. He hit a run-scoring single off Chris Uriostegui to put the Rainiers in the lead, 1-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Dressel told the Tacoma Observer.

The win brings the Rainiers to 16-12, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
