Yankees 8-3 Winners Versus Minnesota (GCL)
|
Behind the hitting of Jonathan Gier, the New York A (GCL) Yankees stopped the Minnesota (GCL) Twins, 8-3. Gier went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Yankees. Bob Arce went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The right-hander struck out 3 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 3-4 this season.
