The Fresno Grizzlies bested the Tacoma Rainiers by a score of 11-0, with third baseman Gordie Kamp getting the main credit. On the day, Kamp went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Grizzlies. Josh Forth sewed up the save, his 1st. Fresno is now 5-2.
Early in the game, Kamp had a 3-run home run for Fresno. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Grizzlies on top, 3-0.
