The Syracuse Mets topped the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-2, in International League action at Fifth Third Field. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Ellicott City, Maryland, native Josh Forth. Devon Reid earned the save for Syracuse. Syracuse, at 54-80, occupies last place in the International League North Division.

Andy Foster had a direct impact on the outcome. Foster contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Syracuse up, 1-0.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Forth. "More importantly, I had a good game."
