Mets Suffer 7-2 Road Loss

The Durham Bulls took on the Syracuse Mets at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Jorge Castaneda powered the Durham Bulls to a win over the Syracuse Mets. The final score was 7-2. The Durham third baseman was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. With the win, Durham raised its record to 62-58.
With Durham leading 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Castaneda came up to bat against Syracuse pitcher Greg Pasternack. Castaneda hit a cutter to left for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Bulls on top, 7-0.
"We'll pocket this win," said Castaneda, "and then go after another."
