Bulls Deal Indians 4-1 Loss
|
The Bulls grabbed a win, 4-1, at Victory Field, overcoming a fine effort from Indianapolis pitcher Ryan McMillan. McMillan went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Chris Sifuentes earned the save for Durham, his 9th. The first-place Bulls now have a win-loss record of 29-14.
With the bases empty and one out in the top of the seventh inning, first baseman Jaime DiGirolamo delivered big for the Bulls. Durham was trailing 1-0 when he belted a solo home run.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said DiGirolamo.
