Indians Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Red Sox, 6-4
Joe Hale did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Pawtucket Red Sox from being beaten, 6-4, to the Indianapolis Indians at McCoy Stadium. Hale was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Indianapolis now sits at 20-20, while Pawtucket falls to 17-23.

The Indians beat the Red Sox in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Luis Ruiz produced in the top of the ninth. Batting against Jon Kerley, Ruiz gave his team the lead, 6-4, when he hit a 2-run single.

"They had a good approach," Pawtucket skipper said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
