Peternek Now 3-2 After Beating RailRiders
|
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs claimed a close win over the Scranton WB RailRiders, due in large part to Ralph Peternek. The Lehigh Valley left-hander pitched a great game to secure the 1-0 win. The IronPigs now own a record of 17-18.
Peternek, who dominated for Lehigh Valley, earned the victory to move to 3-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 6. Scranton WB batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Ralph did a good job of managing their lineup," said Lehigh Valley manager .
