Red Sox Roll to 8-3 Win Over Bats
|
The performance of Chris Terry proved critical in helping Pawtucket beat Louisville, 8-3. The Red Sox center fielder went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Chris Qualls got the win, improving to 2-2. He held the Bats to 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The setback makes the Bats 7-15.
Early in the game, first baseman Jim Shaw had a 2-run double for Pawtucket. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Red Sox on top, 2-0.
"I think it just wasn't our night," said Louisville skipper .
