|
In a tight contest between the Indianapolis Indians and the Scranton WB RailRiders, Kevin Griffith was the determining factor. The Indianapolis right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Griffith got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 1 hit and walked 2 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. The RailRiders fall to 7-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2059 season.
The Indians got a big at-bat from second baseman Jordan Hale. For the game, Hale went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Indianapolis a 2-0 lead.
