Rich, Mud Hens Take Dramatic Game 2 for 2-0 Series Lead
When the games really matter, the Toledo Mud Hens put on their best show, beating the Salt Lake Bees by a final score of 8-7. Jeff Rich went 3-6 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Toledo now leads Salt Lake 2-0 in the best-of-5 affair.

The Mud Hens were down to their final out when center fielder Mike Rice turned a 1-2 fastball from Chris Tolle into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Fifth Third Field crowd go wild.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Rice.

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City.
