Mud Hens Take 2-1 Lead with 5-2 Win
The Toledo Mud Hens moved to within one game of the Triple A Championship, downing the Buffalo Bisons on the road at Sahlen Field by a score of 5-2. Mud Hens left-hander Ben Taylor had a strong outing. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Mud Hens a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 League Championship Series.

The Mud Hens had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the eighth. The score was 5-2, Toledo, with no one out. Buffalo, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Hugo Delgado dug in at the plate, but on a 0-2 fastball, he struck out.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sahlen Field in Buffalo.
