Tri-City Sunk by Surrey, 4-0
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Tri-City Dust Devils and Surrey Twins get after it.
Surrey used a superb performance from starting pitcher Devin Fleming to down the Tri-City Dust Devils, 4-0. Earning his 19th save for Surrey was Tim Lehmen.
The Twins got a big at-bat from center fielder Kenny Morren. For the game, Morren was 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Surrey a 2-0 lead.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Morren.
The third-place Twins are 39-27.
