Chukars Stick Dust Devils with 9-7 Loss
The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Tri-City Dust Devils, 9-7, at Melaleuca Field. The win was due in part to shortstop Andy Dohrman, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Alex Baez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dave Thacker took the loss. Dave Vasquez earned the save for Idaho Falls, his 8th of the year.

With Idaho Falls trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Dohrman hit a fastball from Dave Thacker for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Chukars ahead, 3-1.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Idaho Falls skipper .

The 'W' lifts Idaho Falls's record to 28-34.
