The Volcanoes grabbed a win, 2-1, at Gesa Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Tri-City pitcher Jesus Serna. Serna went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the win, Salem-Keizer has a record of 33-23. Tri-City falls to 28-28.
Chris Callicutt had a direct impact on the outcome. Callicutt contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Salem-Keizer up, 2-1.
