The Olympia Angels knocked off the Surrey Twins, 6-2, at Academia de Abel Garcia. Jeff Snell was a big reason Olympia won. The second baseman went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jose Magana was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. The Angels improved to 41-14.

Snell had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 fastball from Mike Agnew, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Angels a 4-2 lead. It was the 13th double of the year for Snell.

Snell called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
