Aldrich Swings Indians to 11-8 Win
Indians center fielder Joel Aldrich left his imprint on his team's 11-8 win over the Hillsboro Hops. Aldrich was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Spokane in the contest. Spokane pitcher Juan Espinoza got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Marc Keenan got the loss. Josh Humphrey earned the save for Spokane, his 12th of the year.

Aldrich had no bigger at-bat than in the top of the fifth when the 20-year old right fielder hit a grand slam home run. The home run gave Spokane the lead, 10-1. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We take it day by day here," said Aldrich, "and today was a good one for us."

Spokane now sports a record of 35-20.
