Taylor drives in 4 runs to Ignite Twins Offense
The Surrey Twins beat the Tri-City Dust Devils, 8-4, at Baseball City Complex. Chris Taylor, who is tied for 2nd in the NWL in stolen bases with 29, starred for Surrey. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Surrey pitcher Brad Watts earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. Jorge Sanchez suffered the loss. The first-place Twins now have a win-loss record of 37-13.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Twins grabbed the lead when Taylor hit his 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Davon Meade made it 7-4, Surrey.

Taylor said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
