Idaho Falls Dealt 5-1 Defeat
|
At Everett Memorial Stadium, the Idaho Falls Chukars and Everett AquaSox were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Everett AquaSox starter Ernie Arnold hurled his team past the Idaho Falls Chukars, 5-1. The AquaSox improved to 19-6.
The AquaSox got an important contribution from left fielder Mike Sigmon, who in the bottom of the first knocked a full count fastball to right-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the AquaSox ahead, 2-0.
"It never gets old," said Sigmon. "Winning, that is."
