Mattimore Leads West Virginia Past Batavia
|
In a low-scoring game between the West Virginia Black Bears and the Batavia Muckdogs, pitcher Sean Mattimore was the difference-maker. The West Virginia right-hander was tough as nails in the 3-2 Black Bears win. West Virginia is now 37-25, Batavia 31-31.
West Virginia starter Sean Mattimore was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
