Erazo 5-for-6 Against Toros
5 hits in a game has always been a big milestone in baseball -- 5 hits in a game gets a player's name in the record book, win or lose. Mario Erazo got his name recorded today, but the Tijuana Toros picked up the win at Ballpark of Mérida, topping the Aguascalientes Rieleros, 6-2.

"He bushwhacked us," said winning manager . "We were lucky to come out ahead."

Erazo spoke to reporters in the clubhouse following the game, saying his nerves only set in once he was on the cusp of the milestone.

"I got too much adrenaline going when I realized that this could be a once-in-a-lifetime day," the shortstop said. "I think the coaches could tell I was going to be ready to swing at anything close. That's why my third base coach told me to calm down and wait for a good pitch. That got me back on track."

Mario Erazo singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Mario del Real in the 8th, walked in the 10th, struck out in the 12th and singled in the 13th.

Erazo is currently batting .279 with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs.
