There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Tony Sanchez is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Yucatan Leones at Estadio De Beisbol Kukulkan. The monster effort from the 25-year-old catcher helped the Union Laguna Algodoneros get the win, 18-12.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Leones manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Tony Sanchez singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.

In this current campaign Sanchez is hitting at a .284 clip with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs.
