The Wilmington Blue Rocks grabbed a win, 9-7, over the Frederick Keys at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Wilmington left fielder Chris Springer was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. The defeat makes Frederick 56-53.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jake West in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ali Dease to win the game for Wilmington. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said West.
