The Stockton Ports stopped the Frederick Keys, 6-4, in 10 innings at Harry Grove Stadium. The Ports got a big game from Dan Binion, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Juan Bustamante was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-3. The losing pitcher was Raul Farias. Picking up the save was Danny McCraw, his 4th.
Binion had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-2 fastball from Alex Contreras, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Ports a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Binion.
Binion described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
