The Winston-Salem Dash picked up a win at Calvin Falwell Field, taking down the Lynchburg Hillcats, 7-0. Starting pitcher Brad Clark was a big reason why. The winner was Clark. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Mike Laba. The 6th-place Dash lifted their record to 39-39.

Josh Frigon, the Winston-Salem left fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 1-0, Dash. For the game, Frigon was 1 for 5.
