The Visalia Rawhide picked up a win at Recreation Park, downing the Inland Empire 66ers, 3-1. On the mound for Visalia was left-hander Julio Oviedo, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the win, Visalia raised its record to 38-32.
Visalia took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Benedikt Kolar stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Rawhide.
"It feels good to get this one," Oviedo told the Visalia Chronicle.
