No one was more impactful than Ed Crader in the 7-6 Myrtle Beach win over Visalia. Crader, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2057 draft, went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Neil Vishaal picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Steve Bartlett was tagged with the loss. The 6th-place Pelicans now sit at 31-33.

Myrtle Beach grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Crader hit a 2-run double off Danny San Roman. His 5th double of the season put the Pelicans out in front, 6-5.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Crader.
