JetHawks Take Tight Tangle
The Lancaster JetHawks earned a win at The Hangar, knocking off the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 3-2. On the bump for Lancaster was right-hander Jake Kurz. He had a starring role in the triumph. The winner was Steve Hawkins in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Angel Sandoval took the loss. With the win, Lancaster upped its record to 30-29.

Kevin Woods was the walk-off hero for Lancaster. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the JetHawks designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Jake gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Lancaster manager .
