Getting an impressive start from Kevin Saulsbury, Lynchburg beat Down East by the score of 7-1. The Hillcats, now 14-6, have played well so far.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Chris Vitale put Lynchburg in front, 4-0, with a 2-run single. The Hillcats went on to win the ballgame.
