Lake Elsinore 2-0 Losers to Ports
|
In a well-pitched game between the Stockton Ports and the Lake Elsinore Storm, pitcher Otis Ramsay was fantastic. The Stockton right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-0. Ramsay got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. The win takes Stockton to 4-6.
The outcome was still in doubt in the top of the ninth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Lake Elsinore trailing 2-0, Jim Hull needed to get a big out. On a full count curveball, Billy Driscoll struck out, putting the kibosh on a potential rally.
