The Auburn Doubledays downed the Williamsport Crosscutters, 10-5, at Bowman Field. Bobby Schreifels led the way, going 1-for-3 for Auburn. The Doubledays sport a record of 45-20.

Josh Cummins was 1-3 with a walk for Auburn. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tim Avila. It was his 23rd walk of the season.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Cummins. "It sure beats the alternative."
