The Reading Braves got a sterling performance from pitcher Jonathan Wright, but the Auburn Doubledays still prevailed, 6-5. Wright threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Auburn's record now stands at 31-29, placing them 4th in the New York-Penn League North Division.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Auburn trailing 5-4, Erik Blanton hit a fastball from Bobby McCord to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Doubledays had a walk-off win.

"This house was rockin'," Blanton said.
