Albany catcher Arturo Pena had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 11-7, to Reading at Atlanta Braves Complex. Pena went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The 5th-place Braves lifted their record to 27-25.

Alex Delgado went 1-1 with a walk for Reading. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off David Guerrero. It was his 7th walk of the season.

"What we get, we earn," Delgado told the Reading Times.
