Cyclones Take Tight Tilt, 4-3
|
Brooklyn Cyclones starter Nate Queen was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Reading Braves, 4-3. Brooklyn reliever Angel Nieves picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Marco Barragan was tagged with the loss. Mike McCurdy earned the save for Brooklyn, his 4th of the year.
David Hall chipped in a solo home run for Brooklyn in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 2 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Nice, tidy little win," Hall said after the game.
