Loss to Ironbirds Extends State College Losing Streak
The Aberdeen Ironbirds eked out a 3-2 win versus the State College Spikes at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Nobody did more than center fielder Tahar Yooku. He was terrific. Earning his 3rd save for Aberdeen was Jon Clark. Aberdeen, with the win, climbs to 10-24.

Yooku had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth to put Aberdeen in front, 3-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off State College pitcher Jordan Carson.

Yooku attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
