The Aberdeen Ironbirds topped the West Virginia Black Bears by a score of 6-5. Leading the way was designated hitter Dan Minton. Minton was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Ironbirds. Mel Mandoza, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. Andy Swartz earned the save for Aberdeen, his 6th of the year.
