The Brooklyn Cyclones put the giddy home crowd in an even more jubilant mood after beating the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the season opener at MCU Park. Catcher Mike Lang won plaudits for Brooklyn. He went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs.
