Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Mario Rodriguez used his full arsenal to shoot down the Chicago White Sox, 16-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up no walks and striking out 7. Rodriguez allowed 2 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Chicago was on a way, way different page," Rodriguez said.
This season, Rodriguez has compiled a 8-9 mark, 3.06 ERA and made 22 starts.
