Great American Ball Park played host to some high drama.

Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Xi-tong Wu, who is tied for 9th in the NL in RBI with 46, the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 5-2. Reliever Sean Crotty picked up the win. His record improves to 3-3. Victor Gonzalez took the loss.

Cincinnati got a knockout punch from Lee Belflower. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Wu told the Cincinnati Daily News.

The Reds sit in first place in the National League North with a record of 39-33.
