Behiques Gómez Tames Aguas Buenas Tuesday, August 28th , 1906 Gumersindo Gómez of the Orocovis Behiques was in command from start to finish in his 3-0 shutout win over the Aguas Buenas Testarudos. The left-hander, who is tied for 6th in the LJP in strikeouts with 188, struck out 7, walked 4 and allowed 3 hits. "I felt strong the entire game," Gómez said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working." So far this year, Gómez has made 24 starts, tossed 214.1 innings, struck out 188 batters and walked 109.
