#1 Skipper in LMB: Camacho of San German Thursday, September 21st , 1905 Alfredo Camacho stepped before the microphone today and accepted his Liga Mariana Bracetti Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole San German Hermosos organization for making the 1905 season such a success. Camacho struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire San German organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Camacho sparked the Hermosos to a 65-31 record and a first in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Lola Rodríguez de Tió standings. |
