Torres Pounds HR #50 Monday, August 21st , 1905 The Coamo Banistas had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 13-11 decision to Cayey. The reason -- the splendid slugger Tibulo Torres hit his 50th career homer in today's contest at Parquecito de Coamo. "I'm fortunate to be here," Torres told the media after the game. "The Banistas have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #50 was for them." Lifetime Torres has played in 148 games with a .252 batting average.
