Magdaleno Hurls Shutout Monday, August 21st , 1905 Román Magdaleno kept the Penuelas Idiofonos hitters from doing much damage at Parquecito de Peñuelas. Penuelas could only muster 5 hits and draw 5 walks against the right-handed Magdaleno, who controlled them throughout the game. Hormigueros won the contest, 1-0.
