Guillén Shuts Out Barranquitas, 6-0 Sunday, August 20th , 1905 The Barranquitas Insignes were almost helpless in their 6-0 loss to the Cidra Sabaneros and hurler Adrián Guillén. Guillén kept the Insignes confused all game, spinning a 6-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Guillén," Barranquitas manager Marcos Fuentes said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old right-hander had 2 walks and 5 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Guillén said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This year, Guillén has fashioned a 9-4 mark, 2.25 ERA and pitched 120 innings.
