Tramantes Pitching Ravaged by Gamal Wednesday, August 2nd , 1905 All game long, Cabo Rojo's Da'ud Gamal was rattling the walls at Parquecito de Sabana Grande and banging out base hits against the Sabana Grande Tramantes. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Maravillosos had a win, 10-2. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 18-year-old second baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Da'ud Gamal hit a two-run home run off Jaime RamÃrez in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Emanuel Ferreyra in the 9th.
