Amarelles, McDowell Buzz Wanderers, 2-0 Tuesday, June 5th , 1906 Brendan McDowell blitzed the Escanaba Wanderers at Orchard Grounds, pitching the Traverse City Amarelles to victory, 2-0. McDowell went 9 innings to shut out the Wanderers, striking out 2. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Traverse City manager Zabulón Flores.
