Jorge Delgado of the Bangor River Hogs was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 22-9 won-lost mark and 1.41 ERA were big factors in his winning the 1905 Northern New England Association Tea Thrower.

In 306 innings of work and 33 starts, Delgado struck out 214 while giving up 216 hits and 77 walks. He held opposing batters to a .198 average.

He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Salustiano Contreras of the Bennington Melodeons finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Almandeto Castro of the Derry Spuds finished third.
