D'Meza Hurls Bangor to Shutout Win Tuesday, September 12th , 1905 The Bangor River Hogs did little to support starter Angel D'Meza against the Nashua Gatekeepers, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Gatekeepers, striking out 3 and surrendering 3 hits. The performance from D'Meza allowed Bangor to escape with the 1-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Angel, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," D'Meza told BNN reporters following the win.
